In The Beginning

The John R. Deady Funeral Home has been serving our customers for over 60 years. In 1962 John R. Deady built the funeral home at Camac Street and Moyamensing Avenue. The doors were opened in 1963. A few years later the building was expanded and the main entrance room was added. At the death of John R. Deady in 1977 his niece Denise (McGowan) and her husband Frank Lamantia became the owners of the funeral home. The compassionate and affordable services established by John R. Deady have been carried on throughout the years.
