Norma M. (nee Kane) October 22, 2015, age 91, Born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Frances Kane and had a sister Dorothy Kenney and a brother Bud Kane. She was married over 40 years to Thomas Rice before his death in 1983. Norma worked at Hobb Oil for many years. She was an avid bowler and once bowled a game of 255. She also enjoyed swimming and travel and took trips all over the United States, Europe and Canada. At home she loved to read and got to the library with her trusty SEPTA pass. She is survived by her daughter Marie Murray, her son Thomas Rice, 3 grandsons Kevin Murray, Christopher Rice and Shawn Rice. She was the beloved aunt of Sally Wills and Betty Keenan. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday morning 9:00 to 10:15 am at St. Gabriel Church 29th & Dickinson Sts. Funeral Mass 10:30 am. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mass cards or donations in Norma's memory to St. Gabriel Church Memorial Fund 2917 Dickinson St. Phila., PA 19146 would be appreciated.
