WILLIAMSON

James, age 60, passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side on Friday, June 24, 2022. Born on May 25, 1962 to the late John and Claire Williamson. Jimmy was raised in Grays Ferry. He was a Teamster and worked at Acme markets as a truck driver and later in life worked at PennDot. Jimmy spent his time at the mountains, his home away from home and when not at the mountains spent his summers in Wildwood spending time on the water enjoying his yacht and talking to his dock friends.He loved music and having fun. He was always planning the next adventure.

Jimmy was the beloved husband (soulmate) of Barbara (Curran) and loving father to Lisa (Vikram) Taware and James (Jay) Williamson, Jimmy had two grandchildren, Emilia and Abhimanyu. Robert Williamson is the only surviving sibling. Jimmy is predeceased by William Williamson, John Williamson, Patricia Bell and Michael Williamson. Jimmy is survived by his aunts Mae Meehan and Janice Riddle. Also survived by his mother-in-law Grace Curran, brother-in-law to Debbie and Harvey Sumner, Cheryl Curran and Sandy DiFalco. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his gathering Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:45 am at St Gabriel's Church 29th & Dickinson Sts. Philadelphia, PA 19146. Funeral Mass 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy's memory to St. Gabriel's Church would be appreciated.
