CURRAN

Grace A. (nee Gaffney), November 23, 1938 - November 8, 2023. Our dear mother, Grace, sadly passed away at the age of 84, surrounded by her loved ones. She was devoted to her family as well as her community of Grays Ferry, where she always extended a helping hand to anyone in need. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Curran, daughter Grace Ann and her two brothers John and Thomas Gaffney, as well as her two sons-in-law Joebo DiFalco and James Williamson. She is survived by her loving daughters; Deborah Sumner (Robert), Cheryl Curran, Sandra DiFalco, and Barbara Curran Williamson. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jason DiFalco (Laura), Robert Sumner (Sharon), Kerri DiFalco, Nicole DiFalco, Corey Sumner (Rory), Frank DiFalco, and Jay Williamson and her great grandchildren; Ray, Carmella, Avery, and Declan. She enjoyed her work life at Dr. Paul Sedacca's office for over 25 years and loved all her coworkers like family. When Grace was not volunteering her time at the Barret Neighbor Center and Grays Ferry Community Council, she spent her spare time down the shore in West Wildwood, NJ with her family and her morning cup of tea on the deck. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing Thursday, from 9:30 to 11:45 am, November 16, 2023, at St Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 2917 Dickinson Street Philadelphia, PA 19146 followed by her Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon. Family and friends are also invited to attend her interment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace's memory to St. Gabriel's Parish.
