"Country Roads, take me home!"

On April 3rd, 2026, Barbara Lee (Brown) Hoffer passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. In her 86 years of life on Earth, born in West Virginia, later moved to Philadelphia, she had left her mark on the world and on the people around her. Former wife of Frank B. Hoffer, mother of the late Frank B. Hoffer Jr., and the late David E. Hoffer Sr. Daughter of William J. Brown and Opal Brown. Survived by her son, John R. Hoffer (Ciara) and her grandchildren: David (Christina), Ashley, Eric (Amanda), Christopher (Bethany), Claudia, Christina (Dan), and Victoria (Rob). She also has 7 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

As an avid fan of painting, drawing, arts and crafts, game shows, nursing, and teaching, she really enjoyed sharing her knowledge and spreading joy to others. She cared about people and wanted everyone to love each other. She loved telling stories, even when she knew she had told them a thousand times over. But anyway...

In lieu of flowers, please take the time to thank a nurse, have a shot of Irish whiskey, wear some green, and don't forget to put out your thumb, index finger and pinky finger in the air to tell your loved ones that you "Love them too".
